Care
How do I clean kangaroo leather day to day?
Kangaroo leather requires minimal care. Wipe with a soft dry cloth. For light marks, use a slightly damp cloth and let it dry naturally away from heat.
Should I use conditioner?
Only when the leather feels dry. Apply a small amount of a neutral conditioner, test in a hidden spot, then buff lightly. Frequent conditioning is unnecessary.
What if my wallet gets wet?
Blot gently. Do not rub. Air dry in shade. Avoid heaters and hair dryers.
How do I keep the shape slim?
Avoid overstuffing. Keep cards and notes within the intended capacity so seams and folds hold their structure.
How do I care for metal parts?
Grade 5 Titanium: wipe with a soft cloth and dry after saltwater exposure.
Solid Brass: expect a natural patina. If you prefer a brighter look, polish sparingly and keep polish away from leather.
Repair
What repairs do you offer?
Common services include stitch reinforcement, edge finish touch‑ups, hardware replacement for the Key Organiser and money clip replacement where applicable.
Can I fix simple issues at home?
Yes. Tighten a loose Chicago screw with your hand, a coin, or a driver. If a ring or grommet needs replacing, we can mail parts with step‑by‑step guidance.
How do I request a repair?
Send us a message with your order number, clear photos and a short description. We confirm next steps, share packing tips and a shipping address.
Once the item is received, we assess it and then confirm the plan with you.
How long will the repair take?
Timing depends on scope and parts availability. We provide an estimate before work begins.
What will the repair cost?
Minor adjustments may be complimentary within the two-year warranty period. Parts and labour are quoted case by case before you approve.
Do you have local repair partners?

Warranty
What does the warranty cover?
Manufacturing faults in materials or workmanship under normal use. Examples include stitching that fails prematurely and defective hardware.
What is not covered?
Wear from normal use, patina or colour change, scratches, accidental damage, exposure to heat or chemicals and modifications by third parties.
How do I make a warranty claim?
Send us a message with your order number, photos and a short description. We will guide you through the process
What will Blackinkk do if a fault is confirmed?
We will repair or replace the item, or provide another suitable remedy. We will confirm the next steps with you.
Do I need the original packaging?
No, but please protect the item well for transit. Use the drawer‑style box if you have it, or a padded sleeve.
How long is my warranty period?
Two years from the date of purchase.
